The "Climbing with Assala" series helps learners move through the three reading areas (fluency, precision and comprehension) according to their level. The series contains 8 levels and each level is listed as beginner/intermediate/advanced. The levels therefore increase progressively as the learners progress. The themes are interesting, attractive for children and develop human values (welcoming migrant or disabled children, modesty, solidarity, sharing, perseverance in work, resilience, patience...).

The sentences are more and more elaborate:

beginning (a sentence of 4 to 5 words),
intermediate (a sentence of 6 to 7 words),
advanced (a sentence of 8 to 9 words).

These books can be used for recitation/listening, reading by the learner, copying or dictation.
